Recovery vs Restart
Recovery vs Restart or is it Recession vs Overall Behavior?
“Everybody wants to go back to January or February of this year”… Kate Moore starts out explaining this is the narrative people are searching for however there are new upsides to the changes happening in the economy today.
Recovery comes out of recession however this is really a Restart, based in a health crisis which means the restart will be based around healthier interactions on day to day and changes in how consumers buy products. There is a “turbo-charged” push in tech and knowledge work. This is unique opportunity for companies to reframe their businesses and upgrade their technology platforms for efficiency and connectivity.
Tech and healthcare obviously on the rise however other companies are re-evaluating their operations and finding new ways to compete in this high risk high reward market place.
Consumption and online purchases have catapulted, turbo charged this will not be changing any time soon. People are buying more products now rather than services and experiences but this will pick up after the vaccine is distributed.
